I can't say enough how grateful I am for Ellen Simon's help finding an apartment on the Upper West Side.

After initial communication on the internet from our home in Chile, we were scheduled to spend six days in NY, during which time we had to visit family and friends, see five universities in three states for my high school-age son, and, optimistically, locate and start purchase of an apartment for my daughter, who was studying at Juilliard. Ellen lined up eight or nine possibilities within our limited budget, fitting visits around our schedule, and accompanying us everywhere, saving us a lot of time. The weather that week alternated between 90° heat and humidity and tremendous thunderstorms. Amazingly, for the last apartment we saw, we made an offer which was accepted! We then had to do everything long-distance from Chile, with my daughter as power of attorney, aided by a lawyer Ellen recommended. No-one could believe we had succeeded at what was almost a 'mission impossible'. Four years later, my daughter is still happily living in the apartment!

Good company as well! My getting an education and my indecisiveness never seemed to deter her. She never pushed as many do. There aren’t many like her in this industry !
